FlyteVu strategically partnered VSPink with talent judges that were diverse in careers, age, and educational backgrounds to relate to the young women applying, including Youtube star Bethany Mota, Drybar Founder & CEO Alli Webb, Marie Claire Editor in Chief Aya Kanai, actor, director and creator of Situationships on BET Cylla Senii, ClassPass founder Payal Kadakia, L Brand’s Vice President and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer Nichole Barnes Marshall, The Giving Keys’ Founder Caitlin Crosby, VSPink Campus Rep and content creator Heather Galle, and Founder of Threads for Teens Allyson Ahlstrom.
Judges reviewed video and written submissions to the GRL PWR Project and content was captured in real time as girls were notified by judges that they won the grant. The content premiered on VSPink’s Youtube page as a recap of the successful program.
As an extension of the project, VSPINK created a one-for-one giveback with The Giving Keys by partnering with VS PINK’s college reps to give a key to someone special in their life. Along with procuring talent and partnerships, FlyteVu’s press team earned placement in major outlets including Seventeen, People, HerCampus and more.
