The Challenge

David’s Bridal is consistently associated with bridal gowns, but most people don’t know they are actually an occasionwear destination. David’s Bridal was looking to shift the perception of the brand, taking them beyond bridal and showcasing all they have to offer—from occasionwear and non-bridal offerings, to accessories and shoes. The brand wanted to make a splash, with a focus on driving press and social conversation. Where better to reach women (including brides and their bridal parties!) across the US than in the bachelorette capital of the nation—Nashville, TN?

What We Did

FlyteVu partnered with the nation’s leading bridal and special occasion authority to take them beyond the perception of bridal in the most glam way possible. Together, FlyteVu and David’s Bridal released a limited-edition exclusive diamond rhinestone fringe jacket in collaboration with celebrity Nashville designer, DanielXDiamond, showing they truly offer so much more than wedding gowns.

To generate buzz, FlyteVu tapped current Bride-to-be and former contestant and co-host of ABC’s The Bachelor and Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe to host the event and simultaneously launch the jacket, throwing the must-attend party at the epicenter of bachelorette parties, Nashville, Tennessee.

Attendees were welcomed into the luxurious Viralish House, a Tik-Tok focused influencer house located in the prestigious area of Belle Meade. The night spotlighted all featured celebrity guests, pop-ups, photo moments, gift bags from local female-owned small businesses, and ended with Kaitlyn and Daniel accidentally finding themselves in the pool, later going viral on Instagram.

During the event, the exclusive jacket dropped via a live TikTok shopping experience. Guests at the event and customers from all over were able to join the live virtual shopping party to shop their own coveted David’s Bridal and DanielXDiamond fringe jacket.
