Through the BETHer Awards, FlyteVu facilitated a relationship between Bumble and BET that celebrated and honored the advancement and accomplishments of women of color across various industries including technology, music, TV, and activism. The event was held in Los Angeles and brought together entrepreneurs and established talent for a night of uplifting, empowering, and connecting women.
The evening’s honorees included: world famous percussionist, actress and artist Sheila E. (Icon Award); actress and comedian Yvonne Orji (Rising Star Award); business mogul and television personality La La Anthony (Evolution Award); Women’s March National co-chair Tamika Mallory (Mission Award); Angela Benton, founder and CEO of NewME Accelerator (Tech Innovation Award); and Chief Marketing Officer, Endeavor, Bozoma Saint John, who received Bumble’s First Mover Award presented by journalist and editor Elaine Welteroth.
FlyteVu amplified this message by managing Bumble’s onsite presence, talent relationships, red carpet press, and assisting in the production of onsite content that was featured on both the BET and BETHer TV channels.
