High-Level Job Description

Under the supervision of the Head of Talent and Partnerships, this full-time position will be responsible for the day-to-day strategy, management, and execution of FlyteVu Talent partnerships, including specifically leading the Influencer marketing practice and associated FlyteVu external partnerships and integrations. Management reserves the right to convert the position to a Client Service role if needed.

Detailed Job Description / Responsibilities

Relationships

  • Build relationships with Talent and Talent teams, prioritizing managers with relevant Talent representatives
  • Attend at least four industry events monthly to build relationships and represent FlyteVu to the entertainment community
  • Ensure Talent managers and Partners are invited to FlyteVu activations, parties, and events to introduce them to the Company and build trust
  • Travel to LA, NYC, and Atlanta at the Head of Talent and Partnerships’ direction to meet and gain relevant Talent knowledge across Sports, Music, Gaming, TV/Film, Media, and Influencers
  • Disseminate relevant Talent and Partner info to Client Teams and Clients, with approval from Account Directors

Vetting

  • Talent Research – Manage the day-to-day research of Talent and Influencers using Julius, industry relationships, etc
  • Data Pulling – Provide and organize detailed data to support research and reasoning paired with Talent and/or Brands
  • Talent / Partner Recommendations – Manage research and suggestions of Talent and Partners applicable to concepts and provide quantitative and qualitative data to support the rationale for Talent/Partner suggestions
  • Talent Idea Lists – Manage running Talent lists for each client where both influencer and traditional Talent names are aggregated for reference
  • Brainstorms – After reviewing all provided briefs, attend and provide specific Talent and/or Partnership input to all brainstorming sessions for assigned clients. The Talent Strategist is expected to review all provided briefs and bring Talent ideas to each meeting
  • Vet with Representatives – Must be able to make initial outreach to gauge interest, availability, and conflicts for Talent recommendations and Brand Partners when applicable

Deal Negotiation/Deal Memo Drafts

  • Influencers – Lead the contracting & negotiation process for all short-form or template deal memos/contracts for Influencer Agreements.  The Talent Strategist should route redlines and final agreements to the Head of Talent and Partnerships to sign
  • Talent – Introduce the Head of Talent and Partnerships and/or Director of Talent and Partnerships when requested to make offers or discuss specific Client opportunities. Assist the team in drafting template deal memos and send them to the Head of Talent and Partnerships to review and negotiate
  • Brand Partners and Sponsorships Make an introduction to the Head of Talent and Partnerships when requested to make offers or discuss specific Client opportunities.  Assist team in drafting template deal memos and send them to the Head of Talent and Partnerships to review and negotiate
  • Media Integrations Surface opportunities for our clients to integrate into media programming and platforms

Program Execution

  • Liaise with the Account team to ensure successful execution and delivery of agreed-upon deal points from the signed deal through the end of the program/partnership
  • Ensure proper handoff for execution to the Account team once deliverables and creative direction are final unless the nature of the program or Talent/Partner relationship requires otherwise
  • Support the Account Director/Manager through any issues that may arise and require pivots in creative direction or adjustments to contractual deliverables

Manage Resources & Contractors

  • Talent Task Force Support the Head of Talent and Partnerships in managing all entertainment industry relationships, staying in the know on music releases, upcoming projects, etc
  • Talent Resourcing Tool(s) Management – Manage the day-to-day operations of Talent Management Tool(s) (i.e., Julius, databases, trackers, etc.) and all functions necessary to keep it running effectively and up-to-date. Responsible for Team training and education

Required Competencies/Skills

  • 5+ years of Talent, Brand Partnerships, and/or Entertainment Marketing experience in agency or Talent management roles; entertainment and partnerships experience required
  • Strong understanding and ability to create brand marketing strategies across entertainment and culture
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Excellent English language proficiency
  • Problem-solving mentality with the ability to think independently and challenge oneself to learn and grow
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with varying deadlines
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to work with ambiguity at times
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Apple Keynote
  • Experience across 360 marketing campaigns (creative, media, content, social, PR, events)
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, hard-deadline environments

Education Required

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
