High-Level Job Description

This role leads day-to-day client relationships and executes high-impact entertainment marketing campaigns. Reporting to an Account Director, the Senior Account Manager will oversee multiple brand accounts, ensuring seamless execution, strategic oversight, and relationship-building with clients, agency partners, and talent partners/vendors/other third parties.

This position requires a highly organized, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and is passionate about entertainment, culture, and brand storytelling.

Detailed Job Description/Responsibilities

  • Client & Account Management
    • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for multiple brand clients, ensuring flawless execution of deliverables
    • Lead strategic planning and execution of entertainment marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with client goals and KPIs
    • Oversee internal project workflows, ensuring all teams stay on track with timelines, deliverables, and budgets
    • Develop and manage key account service documents, including meeting agendas, recaps, project trackers, proposals, and post-mortem reports
    • Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring clear task assignments and quality control
    • Proactively communicate with clients, offering solutions-driven recommendations and ensuring exceptional client service
  • Strategy & Ideation
    • Support and lead concept development for client campaigns, contributing strategic insights and trend research
    • Stay ahead of entertainment, music, pop culture, and marketing trends to inform new ideas and campaign enhancements
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative brand partnership strategies, sponsorship activations, and influencer campaigns
  • Relationship Management
    • Cultivate and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with brand clients, agency partners, third-party vendors, and industry stakeholders
    • Lead cross-functional team collaboration, ensuring all partners are aligned on strategy, execution, and deliverables
    • Identify new opportunities for client partnerships, sponsorships, and brand integrations
  • Operational & Financial Stewardship
    • Oversee budget management and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
    • Own client and internal reporting and billing reconciliation, ensuring accurate invoicing and financial tracking
    • Maintain and enforce agency processes and values, ensuring operational efficiency

Required Competencies/Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in entertainment marketing, music, or brand partnerships, with a minimum of 2+ years in a senior-level account or partnership management role
  • Experience managing and leading internal or cross-functional teams as part of integrated marketing campaigns for brands
  • Strong understanding and ability to create brand marketing strategies across entertainment and culture
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mentality with the ability to think independently and challenge oneself to learn and grow
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with varying deadlines
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to work with ambiguity at times
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Apple Keynote
  • Experience across 360 marketing campaigns (creative, media, content, social, PR, events)
  • Experience managing projects within allocated budgets and timelines
  • Proven track record of over-delivery of results
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, hard-deadline environments


Additional Preferences/Not Required

  • Agency marketing experience in account management or brand management role
  • Experience managing multiple enterprises or large brands as clients.
  • Experience with Basecamp or other Project Management Software
  • Experience with time-tracking software


Education Requirement

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Marketing Management, Journalism, Communications, Music Business, General Business, or a related field
