High-Level Job Description:

Under supervision of the EVP, this full-time senior level position will have oversight and be responsible for the performance and success of FlyteVu shared services including PR, Digital, and Media teams. The Integrated Media Director will aid in strategic vision, campaign strategy, & ensure proper client management. This position sits on the agency’s Management Team which oversees day to day operation of the business.  The ideal candidate will be able to conceptualize campaigns strategically, sell ideas to client, lead teams effectively and strengthen client relationships by ensuring overall campaign success, in addition to being hands on with clients and programs to execute directly.

Detailed Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Manage PR, Media, and Digital teams day to day: supervise, lead, train and inspire the team with best practices and sound recommendations, prioritize projects and deadlines for completion
  • Develop and manage overall PR, Media, and Digital Strategies for FlyteVu programs with FlyteVu clients
  • Responsible for success across PR, Media and Digital areas of Client programs, including strategy adjustments mid-campaign or Crisis Communication responses
  • Cultivate key relationships with FlyteVu clients, press, media / agency partners, 3rd party vendors and other partners during the initial planning phase to assess needs and determine overall strategic direction needed to successfully execute campaigns 
  • Determine project scope and requirements with Account leads and ensure execution of appropriate client/vendor contracts
  • Ability to craft compelling brand narratives through press and media from research, insights and data, articulating findings in a clear way to project stakeholders
  • Ability to problem solve creatively and be solution focused
  • Knowledge of digital platform innerworkings and performance metrics including, but not limited to, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snap, TikTok, etc.
  • Forecast trends and present new opportunities in Media to Partners with clear recommendations to grow business and teams and contribute to the Company’s overall growth
  • Desire for continued learning of changes & innovation within the arts, tech & media industries
  • Oversee research around emerging content trends and make recommendations to Clients, Partners and Management team.
  • Work with staff to ensure consistent branding across all assets including but not limited to: print, video, and digital assets
  • Oversee paid media buys on social, digital, print, TV, radio, OOH as needed for campaigns
  • Maintain strong database of high-level media contacts and continuously builds new relationships on a national and global level
  • Successful ability to pitch national and global press for earned opportunities
  • Oversight of Integrated Media budgets
  • Oversee Integrated Marketing (PR, social, digital) deliverables for Talent contracts
  • Create & adjust internal processes to ensure ongoing communication with other FlyteVu teams, including Accounts, Creative, and Production
  • Must be able to effectively communicate internally and externally in a manner consistent with the company’s Code of Conduct and core values
  • Handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information
  • Must be able to read and understand materials and documents and have the ability to recognize and extract critical data and information
  • Must be able and willing to work during non-business hours as needed or required to fulfill job requirements

Required Competencies/Skills:

  • 8+ years agency marketing experience in account management or brand management role 
  • Entertainment or music experience
  • Experience leading teams as part of integrated marketing campaigns for brands
  • Understanding and ability to create brand marketing strategies across entertainment and culture
  • Strong communication and time management skills 
  • Experience managing a team
  • Must have problem-solving mentality with ability to think ahead independently and challenge oneself to learn and grow
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks with varying deadlines
  • Must be open to travel 
  • Work well under pressure 
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with ability to work with ambiguity at times
  • Must lead-by-example and foster supportive environment for agency
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Apple Keynote

Additional Preferences/Not Required:

  • Event management experience 
  • Experience with Basecamp or other Project Management Software
  • Experience with time tracking software
  • Experience with file management software

Education Required:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
