High Level Job Description:


Under supervision of the EVP and partners, this full-time role is responsible for the overall strategic vision and transformation of FlyteVu’s digital business (including but not limited to optimizing FlyteVu’s digital marketing and promotional efforts across content development/performance, influencer/community growth and engagement, and paid/organic social). Candidate must have a broad understanding of emerging technologies like VR/AR and Web3. 

The Head of Digital/Content is responsible for being an expert on both the current state of digital and web /social platforms as well as the on-going developments across the arts, tech and media landscapes.  The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of Ad Platforms such as Facebook, Google, and Tik Tok along with other emerging platforms.

Detailed Job Description/Responsibilities:  

  • Oversee all aspects of digital marketing and promotion, focusing on revenue growth and expansion of service offerings
  • Drive vision and growth of Web2 services offerings (content initiatives & paid social) and drive client engagement/conversions for emerging offerings like Web3
  • Create cohesive digital marketing plans, budgets, and timelines that can be implemented by internal stakeholders and clients
  • Oversee and drive growth of paid social campaigns on behalf of Clients
  • Create performance-based client strategies for paid/organic social campaigns with forecasted data and knowledge to formulate the best performing program
  • Collect, analyze and gain actionable insights and observations from data sources across digital and social platforms
  • Cultivate and maintain key relationships with partners and vendors and other partners as needed to execute campaigns and create new opportunities for agency clients
  • Maintain extensive always on knowledge of all predominant digital platforms including, but not limited to social platforms (Meta, Discord, Twitter, SNAP, TikTok, YouTube, etc), DSPs (Spotify, Apple, Amazon, and Pandora), and a high level understanding of Web3 and gaming
    • Provide consistent updates on trends and updates in the Content Innovation, web3, metaverse space applicable to the internal/external teams
    • Provide best practices for all social media platforms including, but not limited to, paid media, post/video optimization, and APIs
    • Maintain knowledge of Paid Media, Paid Search, and Display Advertising while educating internal/external teams
    • Acquire knowledge of client’s business to anticipate marketing and advertising challenges and opportunities
  • Develop monthly reports and educate team on emerging digital/social media trends
  • Maintain a deep connection to innovation in tech, media and the digital landscape
  • Desire and ability to learn new social ads platforms and how to facilitate media buys
  • Ability to oversee billing for paid media and issue insertion orders and monthly reconciliation
  • Handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information, including PII (Personally Identifiable Information)
  • Must be able and willing to work during non-business hours as needed or required to fulfill job requirements

Required Competencies/Skills:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in Brand Marketing or Digital Marketing
  • Experienced team leader with strong coaching and mentorship acumen
  • Ability to drive a culture of always-on testing and learning, including the rapid application of consumer signals into strategy, planning, and content iteration
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with proven ability to juggle between the details and big picture, manage multiple and competing projects and priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; experience crafting strategic recommendations and persuasive presentations to leadership; Strong copywriting skills with an emphasis on copywriting for social media
  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, high energy, skilled team of marketers that have a passion for entertainment and culture and creating meaningful connections between consumers and the FlyteVu brand/business
  • Ability to develop and maintain budgets and campaign timelines
  • Must have problem-solving mentality under pressure
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks with varying deadlines
  • Ability to think ahead, lead strategy and be on the forefront of innovation
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Keynote

Additional Preferences/Not Required:

  • Entertainment or music experience specifically with brands and talent
  • Experience with Basecamp or other Project Management Software

Education Required:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Marketing or related field
