High-Level Job Description:

Under the supervision of Agency Partners, this full-time senior-level position will be responsible for the performance and success of all staff in the Accounts department, including Client Services and Project Management. The Group Director will aid in client acquisition, establish campaign strategy, maintain revenue goals & ensure proper client management. The ideal candidate will be able to conceptualize campaigns strategically, lead effectively and strengthen client relationships by ensuring overall campaign success. 

Detailed Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Effectively lead and develop the staff to ensure quality execution of all client campaigns
  • Cultivate and maintain key relationships with FlyteVu accounts, agency partners, 3rd parties, vendors, media outlets and other partners as needed to execute campaigns and create new opportunities for clients/ prospects
  • Ability to work and oversee all agency accounts
  • Utilize knowledge of full marketing eco-system (digital, public relations, creative, experiential, etc) to develop programs
  • Supervise, lead and support the accounts team with best practices and sound recommendations
  • Draft, negotiate and manage Client MSAs
  • Approve all new program pitches, including strategy, budget, deliverables, timelines, KPIs, before Accounts team presents to client
  • Provide monthly billing reconciliation, forecasting, reporting and invoicing to partners
  • Proactively manage client expectations and deliver exemplary customer service
  • Meet or exceed the client’s expectation of knowledge and professionalism
  • Handle any issues that escalate from staff that impact the successful execution of the work before the client is negatively affected
  • Review all contracts for Vendors & Talent as necessary, working with Director of Creative & Talent to finalize
  • Promote & enforce agency process and agency values
  • Participate in networking activities in an effort to gain new business and new partners, and organically grow business with clients
  • Handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information
  • Must be able to effectively communicate internally and externally in a manner consistent with the company’s Code of Conduct and core values
  • Assist with on-site activation and fulfillment of client programs, which require that employee:
    • Must be able to travel without restriction
    • Must pass a background check
  • Must be able and willing to work during non-business hours as needed or required to fulfill job requirements

Required Competencies/Skills:

  • 12+ years of agency marketing experience in account management or brand management role
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to develop 360 marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing multiple teams with various specialties
  • Must have a problem-solving mentality
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks with varying deadlines
  • Must be open to travel
  • Work well under pressure
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to work with ambiguity at times
  • Ability to think ahead, independently and challenge oneself to learn and grow
  • Must lead-by-example and foster a supportive environment for agency
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Apple Keynote

Additional Preferences/Not Required:

  • Entertainment or music experience
  • Event management experience 
  • Experience with Basecamp or other Project Management Software
  • Experience with time tracking software
  • Experience with file management software

Education Required:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
