High-Level Job Description

We are seeking a Copywriter to join our team and help shape narratives that inspire, entertain, and engage. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the world of entertainment, pop culture, and brand storytelling—someone who can craft sharp campaign messaging, develop brand voice guidelines, and bring fresh ideas to both digital and experiential campaigns.

As a copywriter at FlyteVu, you’ll work across multiple clients and projects, helping shape creative ideas, develop pitch decks, and write scripts and social content. You’ll collaborate with other creatives, designers, and account teams to bring big ideas to life in an engaging and brand-relevant way.

Detailed Job Description/Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging, unexpected ideas
  • Create copy for brand campaigns, entertainment partnerships, and social media campaigns
  • Write across multiple platforms, including pitch decks, brand manifestos, social campaigns, scripts, website copy, and editorial content
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop and refine messaging for major entertainment and lifestyle brand campaigns
  • Translate strategic insights int compelling brand narratives and campaign concepts
  • Adapt brand voice and tone across various projects while maintaining consistency and creativity
  • Stay ahead of entertainment and cultural trends to bring fresh, relevant perspectives to client work
  • Assist in shaping and refining creative presentations, ensuring clear, compelling, and impactful messaging

Required Competencies/Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in copywriting, creative writing, or content development, preferably in an agency or entertainment-related industry
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of work, including brand storytelling, campaign messaging, and entertainment-related writing
  • Passion for entertainment, pop culture, and brand partnerships
  • Ability to write across different tones and styles, from playful and edgy to sophisticated and informative
  • Experience collaborating with designers, strategists, and account teams to develop integrated creative concepts
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present and defend creative ideas to clients and internal teams
  • Familiarity with social media trends and content formats
  • Experience with storytelling for brands in entertainment, sports, music, or lifestyle categories is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, Apple Keynote

  • Be willing to work during non-business hours, including weekends and additional hours beyond the 40-hour work week as needed
