Account Director
Location: Nashville, TN
High Level Job Description:
Under supervision of the Head of Client Service, this full-time role will be responsible for the performance and success of assigned account teams. The Account Director will establish campaign strategy, maintain revenue goals & ensure proper client management. The ideal candidate will be able to conceptualize campaigns strategically, lead effectively and strengthen client relationships by ensuring overall campaign success.
Detailed Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain key relationships with FlyteVu accounts, agency partners, 3rd parties, vendors, media outlets and other partners as needed to execute campaigns and create new opportunities for clients/ prospects
- Ability to work and oversee multiple accounts from a strategic planning perspective
- Acquire thorough knowledge of client’s business to anticipate marketing and advertising challenges and opportunities
- Maintain deep understanding of client’s competitive landscape and influential news and events
- Nurture & develop relationships with Talent partners to be up-to-date on relevant industry information
- Draft Talent deal memos and negotiate to secure services in the best interest of the client
- Draft, negotiate and manage Client Scopes of Work for projects or retainers based on hourly billing rates and budgets
- Ensure supervision, proper training, support & reviews for Account Managers and Coordinators
- Manage Phase 1 new campaign creation, ensuring complete delivery against: strategy, brief, budget, campaign guidelines, timeline, talent contracts and KPIs
- Lead and assist in all client pitch presentations, selling in new business opportunities to decision-makers
- Oversee, review and analyze all client-facing deliverables
- Provide monthly billing reconciliation, reporting and invoicing to partners
- Proactively manage client expectations and deliver exemplary customer service
- Meet or exceed the client’s expectation of knowledge and professionalism
- Supervise Account Managers and develop their skill set
- Promote & enforce agency process and agency values
- Participate in networking activities in an effort to gain new business and new partners, and organically grow business with clients
- Handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information
- Must be able to effectively communicate internally and externally in a manner consistent with the company’s Code of Conduct and core values
- Assist with on-site activation and fulfillment of client programs, which require that employee:
- Must be able to travel without restriction
- Must be physically able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and load/unload, setup and teardown, etc.
- Must pass a background check
- Must be able and willing to work during non-business hours as needed or required to fulfill job requirements

Required Competencies/Skills:
- 8+ years agency marketing experience in account management or brand management role, entertainment and/or talent experience required
- 5+ years experience leading multi-person teams as part of integrated marketing campaigns for brands
- Understanding and ability to create brand marketing strategies across entertainment and culture
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Experience managing a team
- Must have problem-solving mentality with ability to think ahead independently and challenge oneself to learn and grow
- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks with varying deadlines
- Must be open to travel
- Work well under pressure
- Entrepreneurial self-starter with ability to work with ambiguity at times
- Must lead-by-example and foster supportive environment for agency
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Apple Keynote
Additional Preferences/Not Required:
- Experience managing multiple enterprise or large brands as clients
- Experience across full 360 marketing campaigns (creative, media, content, social, PR, events)
- Proven ability to show over-delivery of results
- Proven ability to operate in fast paced, hard deadline environments

Education Required:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
